I am honored to join the Northeast Early College High School as the new Principal for the 2022-2023 school. I am thrilled to return to the community that made me. I am a proud graduate of Johnston High School and a beneficiary of the type of education that Austin ISD can provide.
Growing up in Austin, Texas, I have seen the city evolve. Through the changes, Austin holds a special place in my heart. This unique city is home to many cultures, ethnicities, and languages, similar to the student population of Northeast Early College High School. I started my career as a teacher at Parades Middle Schools and later became an assistant principal in Del Valle ISD and Hays CISD. I have held leadership roles both in and outside of Austin ISD. These experiences have prepared me to bring the best practices into the fabric of Northeast ECHS.
