The College Essay

College Application Essays

Your grades and activities show what you have accomplished. Your college essay helps admissions teams understand who you are, what matters to you, and what you may bring to their campus.

A strong essay can also support scholarship applications. This is not a traditional school essay. It should tell a personal story, sound like you, and help the reader remember you.

Always answer the exact question listed in your application.
